About Us
From recreational play and social events to diversified leagues, clinics, instruction, and tournaments, Performance Pickleball RVA is THE place for the RVA pickleball community.
The largest indoor pickleball facility in Virginia features 12 indoor courts, specifically designed for spacious play areas and comfortable viewing. With a state-of-the-art scheduling system, Performance Pickleball RVA efficiently allows you to maximize your time on the court and provides fuel for your game before and after your match. The facility will ultimately feature 18 total courts (6 outdoor), which will allow players to stay in the game regardless of the weather and in every season.
PPBRVA is the vision of investors and co-founders Lee Warfield, Jeff Newman, Jon Laaser and Leah Fremouw. PPBRVA features an elite team of the top instructors in the region to provide instruction at all levels of the game and guarantee a unique and diverse schedule of events and pickleball opportunities.
Interactive Design Group (IDG) is the architect for the facility. Their extensive experience with athletic and hospitality projects was instrumental in designing a facility that helps connect people in the Richmond community through play and sport. IDG has offices in Midlothian and Roanoke. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the firm has designed hundreds of buildings in various market sectors throughout the state. Because they approach every project with immense curiosity and a mindset of discovery, members of Performance Pickleball RVA are assured that they have indeed found their pickle paradise.
